Riddle of the Day List

Nuisances are said to be a pain in me,

If breathed down, being watched closely,

A protruding apple in my midst,

On a giraffe I can’t be missed.

I vibrate when I am content,

The predator of many pests,

Stalk with silent steps stealthily,

Killed by my own curiosity.

Quiet place, signed in stone,

Flowers left for none to take,

Digging one for yourself is a mistake,

Echoes of existence, encased in earth.

I may hang, I may arch,

Spanning treacherous parts,

Burned to ensure no return,

Terrain tether, holding firm.

Diamond in the rough, holding might,

To create motion or power light,

A fitting gift for a misbehaved child,

Fiery fossils over ages compiled.

Twenty men without use of their hands,

Move amid screams from the stands,

In chase, they run and dive,

Beautiful game known worldwide.
